Day 1: Kabul arrival and city tour

Date: Feb. 1, 2025

Arrival and briefing at the hotel, followed by a walk around the town. We will visit the bird market, known as the oldest part of Kabul, where birds from all over the world are exhibited. It’s not just a bird market; you’ll see blacksmiths, sellers, and old shops, showcasing various ethnicities and cultures of Afghanistan. Then, visit the old turquoise-tiled mosque named Sakhi Shrine in the west of Kabul, a sacred place for Shia Muslims believed to be the final resting place of Hazrati Ali, the cousin of the Prophet Muhammad.

Day 2: Flight to Mazar-e-Sharif and Buzkashi

Date: Feb. 2, 2025

Flight to Mazar in the morning, followed by Buzkashi. Visit the Majestic Blue Tiled Mosque of Ali in Mazar-e-Sharif and enjoy Buzkashi in the afternoon. Buzkashi, Afghanistan's national sport, draws thousands of fans, especially on Fridays.


Day 3: Balkh and Historical Minaret of Dawlatabad

Date: Feb. 3, 2025

Visit the engineering masterpiece of the 11th century, Menaret of Junban in Dawlatabad. Balkh is an ancient city, a center of Buddhism, Sufism, and Zoroastrianism. Explore Haji Piyada Mosque, Tomb of Rabia Balkhi, Khoja Parsa Mosque, and Bala Hisar, the ancient citadel built by Alexander the Great.

Day 4: The Historical Gate of Charkent

Date: Feb. 4, 2025

Visit the historical Gate of Charkent from the 12th century, which stopped Genghis Khan's army during their invasion. Walk through the villages and greet locals, then head to the airport for the flight to Kabul.

Day 5: Sunday, Fly back (Good-bye)

Date: Feb. 5, 2025

We will ensure you are dropped off at the airport on time for your flight back home.
